Our Baby Room is a calm, nurturing space designed especially for children from three months to around two years. With soft lighting, natural textures and plenty of room to move, it’s a welcoming first home-from-home where babies can feel secure, loved and curious about the world around them.

The room is laid out to support every stage of early development — with cosy floor areas for tummy time, low mirrors for self-recognition, and a small climbing frame designed for under-twos to explore safely. Practitioners sit and play at the babies’ level, encouraging communication and gentle interaction throughout the day.

Sleep room & nappy changes

A separate sleep room provides a peaceful, closely monitored environment for rest, with individual cots and soft furnishings that reflect the comforts of home. Each baby follows their own routine, and sleep times are carefully supervised by our team.

The nappy-changing area, situated within the room, is hygienically maintained and designed so that practitioners never lose sight of the children in their care.

Planning for our youngest nursery members

We provide a variety of sensory experiences every day — from music and treasure baskets to painting, water play and story time. The Baby Room links directly to our Baby Garden, allowing even our youngest children to enjoy fresh air and outdoor play as part of their daily routine.

Every element of the Baby Room has been thoughtfully planned to help babies develop early independence, secure attachments and a quiet confidence that prepares them for the next steps in nursery life.
