At Blue Windmill, the garden is at the heart of our nursery — a place to dig, discover and grow together. Our Gardeners’ Club helps children connect with nature through hands-on experiences that change with the seasons.

Resident gardener

Working alongside our resident gardener, children help to design planting areas, care for growing herbs and flowers, and explore the living world around them — from searching for mini beasts to making compost and learning how plants feed our kitchen.

Community groups

As the club develops, we’ll also be building links with the wider community — from local gardening groups to family workshops and parent projects. Together, we’ll nurture more than plants; we’ll nurture curiosity, care and a shared love of the natural world.
